So good!!
orabbit wrote:Looks really nice, but I don't get it. It's a Lisa Frank thing?
yes... it's done in a Lisa Frank style. All her creations were cute and very colorful so I did the same.

You certainly remember the early days of the internet differently from me.
Re: Full House
I hope this is a winner because my wife and I loved full house and are having a kid soon!
Re: Dinosaurs Park v2
Masters of the universe!! ;D Awesome work.
Re: Salvation Lies Within (v3)
Great design of a great movie.
Re: I PLAY FOR KEEPS!
First entry, POGS!!
Very well done. I especially like the 5th Element and Stargate inclusions. Sadly, Mars Attacks absolutely terrified me as a child (I know, I know, it wasn't supposed to be scary) so I could never buy one. Good luck though.
Re: Old School Pirate
I love the concept, but I'd like the T-shirt better if the word pirate was legible. I had to look at the title of the entry to figure it out. I thought it said pucate!
Re: Human Park
Hahaha funny and creative
Re: My name is Dolly
Six colors on navy. Hope you like it! :D

hehe, thanks. was trying out different brush styles for this one

Help a brother out and 'splain it? I'm at sea on this one.

Here's a link (so I don't spoil it for anyone who wants to figure it out).
Reclaimer456 wrote:Something coming out in the last year of a decade hardly qualifies as representing that decade as its effect would largely be felt the following year.
While it may not have spurred long lasting 90's trends because it was introduced so late in the decade, the bottom line is that it's a movie about 90's office culture made at the end of the 90's. This is kind of a semantic argument. No where in the Derby instructions does it state that entries must "represent the decade". Rather our designs should make you nostalgic for the 90's. Mine is suppose to make you nostalgic for 1999. I think that qualifies.

D'oh! All I could think of was this song.
Thanks for the link, now it makes sense !! lol
lyonscc wrote:I totally forgot that The Matrix came out in the 90's. A little bit of mashup fun w/ The Matrix and some reptile martial artists...
Why would these be a mashup, am I missing something?
oneshoeoff wrote:Thanks for the love all! I can't here the phrase "chillin' out" without breaking into song, so I had a lot of fun with this one.
Whoops! "hear" not "here"
Re: This is not your stapler.
One nit: Milton's stapler is a 646, not the 747 depicted with the silver top logo plate. Some folks have recreated the stapler here.
Re: Are you pondering what I’m pondering?
I think so, Brain, but where are we going to find a duck and a hose at this hour?
Re: 90's Sci-fi evolution
This is great Hartzack!but this is not a surprise...you always take it to next level!;)
this is so AWESOME!good work here!
Good idea!you are a good team!
orabbit wrote:D'oh! All I could think of was this song.
Haha. If it makes you feel better, I had to ask Kevlar and FishB what it was. I'm not that clever.
Totally made me think of this
can you post a close-up? Thanks!
Re: GAME BAYwatch
6 Colors on Navy, enjoy :D
Re: The '90s Made Me Believe
An 'X-Files' reference because Fox Mulder convinced me to believe.
Hope this makes it. I think this is one of the best shirts we have seen in a long time. I love references that aren't glaringly obvious. Well Done!
ittybittyx wrote:can you post a close-up? Thanks!
Sure. Closeup
Re: 1994
Hahahaha! I wondered if this would come up as a topic. Admittedly, I didn't get it until I looked it up but it's a very funny design. I vividly remember being glued to the TV while this was going on.
This is a great way to present the cloning joke, however, boob alert.

Intentional? :-)

Re: Good Bye, Rose
Ha!
Hahaha thanks orabbit! I didn't notice the position of the sheeps. This isn´t intentional, lyonscc xD
Great insight into your design process with the video. Clever idea a and top design from you both. +1
Re: Lanford Loose Meat
Yes! An obscure Roseanne reference! I love it. I always wondered, what exactly is loose meat anyway?
