Oh come on...a doughnut? Couldn't it be a celery stalk or something else that isn't completely awful for me? I'm just weak. One picture of a doughnut and it's all I can think about.

Thank you woot! community for getting this shirt printed. I work at a donut shop, and although we make square donuts instead of impossibly triangular ones, I will wear this shirt proudly while I make them.

Exactly - it's not impossible; you just have to be very careful when you frost it so you don't go ALL the way around.

This is not necessarily impossibly delicious as it is impossibly messy…

Woot, how dare you post an impossible to bake or eat tasty treat? It looks SOOOO much like a tasty doughnut but with an impossible half-twist. It is irresponsible products, such as this, that cause a person to doubt physics AND baking.

It is an awesome design, and likely a delicious donut--however, I must demand that anyone who referred to this as a "möbius" relinquish their nerd cards immediately. A true möbius donut would have icing on all sides, as it would be a single-sided pastry (and likely even more delicious).

I raised the same question in the Derby thread and was enlightened that light-colored-donut-with-pink-frosting-and-those-colors-of-sprinkles is the iconic Simpsons donut. I think that both designs being geeky round mathematical shapes makes them appear more similar, but that's not really the artists' responsibility - and I was reassured to learn that the coloring was a parody of a similar very-famous element.

Penrose triangle? Are we talking about the "impossible donut" (which is in the shape of a Penrose Triangle) or are we talking about a new pastry in the shape of the Penrose stairs?
