I'm sorry, Mark - I've had One of Those Days, and I keep forgetting that there's a woot-off going on. When I saw your post, I was surprised there was a woot-off, checked for the woot-off arrows, and then laughed at myself when I remembered that I'd done that three times already today. None of that was at all obvious in my post: it just sounds condescending. I apologize - I truly was laughing at myself.
Anyway, I felt badly enough that I picked through the woot twitter feed to answer your question. 
Looks like the shirt detour started at 10:56AM woot time. There hasn't been a discussion thread for the shirt detour for several woot-offs; if the shirt detour is supposed to be a lunch break for woot staff, the lunch break discussion thread was creating work for the mods because people were trending out-of-line over the course of the hour.
Shirt sales were not evenly distributed... Usually the two old timers (especially Binge) do good business during the detour because wooters put off buying Binge and Nevermore because they'll still be on the Reckoning during the next sale, but that didn't seem to happen today.
