It’s hard to pin down architectural movements to a decade, as they typically spanned several. The quintessential “70s” house (The Brady house) was built in ’59 and followed mid-century modern design aspects that ranged from the mid 30s to the mid 60s. There are a lot of mid century modern structures that work well, but I have yet to see a split level that does.
