Anyway, the design is cool, but very dark (in color, not thematically) and is getting lost on the brown shirt.

lol thanks! Yeah, it's weird actually... in Photoshop my colors are much lighter. I need like a serious 101 tutorial on creating and submitting stuff.

The birds are a direct copy of this, position, direction and everything. As is most of the whale. You literally just took the image, erased a little bit and made the mouth and belly different, then added your piece.

You could at least try. What a miserable thief.

That Frankencookie sure has some chips to be playing God. Especially that big one right there... He might should have that looked at.

Or he could be "dropping choc"
either way, disconcerting

(also, +1 for the monster alone)

I'm pretty sure this is readily apparent.

Besides, LOTR is post-1920's

Yessir. I also made a version titled Jersey Shire where I blew his hair out, that was a little much for this competition though. Thanks for being vigilant though

Could be a CMYK/RGB issue? Make sure you create your art in RGB colorspace.

Wow. So sad that people feel the need to steal like that...

EDIT: I see what you did there, with that twitter thing and #pinnochio. But the birds and whale still look like a direct trace.

Mavyn wrote:You do know that 'photo' is short for 'photograph' and means an image captured by a camera?

Shakespeare was dead long before the camera had been invented. Any image of him is not a photograph. If this image counts for fair use or not is debatable, but really, it is not a photo.

Let me rephrase, it's a photo of someone else's artwork on the web. It was saved on said website as a GIF image, short for Graphics Interchange Format. Either way it is not the original artwork of elinox. geez louise.

I use RGB, but I havn't been double checking with the PANTONE Solid Coated colors... But I think it's the way I export my jpeg

j5 wrote:I would like this better without the word "poison" because the bottle is obvious enough.
Of course, that would mess up the visual balance you have, prompting a bit of a redesign.

I had actually thought about taking out "poison" but you're right, the layout and balance is all messed up without it. I'll play around with it and see if I can come up with an alternate idea. Thanks for the feedback, J5!
