Rejectionator, obviously you're busy so if you would be so kind as to hand over the keys to the enchanted kingdom, I'll gladly take care of these off-topic, no-rule-following, plagiarizing, unimaginative artist-wannabes!

Re: Twenty Thousand Leagues Under The Sea
Awesome!! Love it, voting for it!
Re: Dare to Dream
I love it! Poor Toto. I wonder what he would have wished for?

Re: The Ugly Duckling (21st century version)
great stuff bro!
I'm new here so excuse me for being blunt, but how in the hell are some of these "designs" in the fog?!
Re: Pooh Bear
Winnie the Pooh was first published in a book of poems, "When We Were Very Young" in 1924.
this is simply amazing!
Re: Moby pencil
this is so great!

LOL, that's the million dollar question. Stick around awhile and you'll start to see the dynamics of this place. Good luck.
Mavyn wrote:You do know that 'photo' is short for 'photograph' and means an image captured by a camera?
Shakespeare was dead long before the camera had been invented. Any image of him is not a photograph. If this image counts for fair use or not is debatable, but really, it is not a photo.
"Rejected because: No photos please"
What? What? No what? No PHOTOS?? Say What??? ROFL
This is perfect. I've been waiting for a shirt that I can wear that isn't a cartoon and has a 'wow' quality to it. This is definitely it.

Well, that just makes me sad knowing it apparently happens all the time. There are some pretty amazing artists here and they clearly aren't getting the recognition they deserve, while other "artists" are.
Thanks orabbit and lotsofgoats (gooooats)!
@J5 - I think the circle frames it nicely like Fablefire suggested. I didn't like the double shadows, but one puddle seemed to do the trick.
I'm assuming that's what you mean by "short hand". I had to look it up and it involved shortening words. I'm not changing the title to TAW that is just silly.... AW is also out.
Though I didn't see it in time lotsofgoats (gooooats) suggested "The War of Art" which I think is a great title. None of this AW nonsense.
Being a big fan of the Mad Hatter, I decided to make a shirt in honor to him :-)
I hope you enjoy it!
awww hell looks so cute and inviting and...and...what am I saying?!?!?!
Good luck, voted!

omarfeliciano wrote:The brush strokes are SO RICH, but the oval is so simple...
I know white is not a popular shirt color, but I think it would look awesome in a white shirt without the oval ;)
Thank you Omar but I keep as it is because black seems cool choice for a Poe based design but I consider your suggestion for a second version, thank you buddy =D
neuropsychosocial wrote:Part of what I love about this design is the background in the oval: is raven silhouetted against the moon? is the oval the view through binoculars? is the light source a city and there's commentary about urbanization, or could it be a spotlight outside a rural home, someone fearing a visit from the raven and standing watch? If the design were on white, the choices about the background would be more difficult, I think (how far to extend it?) and it would leave fewer questions for the viewer, IMHO.
Totally indeed! Thank you very much.
thewronggrape wrote:Though I'm usually not a fan of such solidly defined frames for artwork on tees, it works here for me. It makes me think of an old, vintage cameo which fits the mood of this design.
In fact that is what I was looking for so if gives this sensation, mission accomplished, thank you very much.

Why'd you resubmit it without a shirt template?

I said "short form" which meant the shortened stroke.
Good comp though!
