See the wiki article, and the poem, itself.

If I had to venture a guess, I'd say because the design depicts King's version of Roland as the Gunslinger in a postmodern apocalypse. Browning's Roland was one of Charlemagne's knights. Perhaps changing the character would bring it on theme?

Ah. I bet you're right...

So now I've just got to decide - I've got a music gig and child chauffeur duty from now to midnight, so do I
just not sleep tonight or save this for later...

Thanks, FB!

I looked at this and was amazed it seemed so real I could smell it! Lol, then I realized there was orange peel in the trash can. (True story!) Very nicely done!

HAHAHA.
I really hope that this wins.

It would have made sense if the fruit was rotten but processed juice works as well.

One needs to have at least one purchase from woot in order to vote in the Derby; 123456 joined today and hasn't yet purchased anything (white square), so can't vote.

Re: White Fang

Hi there! This design is inspired by "White Fang" by Jack London. It's a story about a wolf who lives a wild, savage life in dog-fighting then eventually becomes loved by a family of humans.

I tried to make it seem like the lead wolf is being chased by savage animals as though he's escaping the wilds. OOoo...allegories.

Re: Escaping the Wild

(I just re-subbed this with a more creative name and better thumbnail image.)

Hello! This design is inspired by Jack London's "White Fang". White Fang lives a savage life as a fighting dog, but he eventually finds loving humans to live with. I tried to capture this in my design by showing the lead wolf escaping from savage beasts!

Hope you like it!
