Thanks to all who helped in the pre-derby thread!

In the end, I went with red, because of the symbolism (and family arm-twisting), though I liked the blue slightly better...

This design is a parody of the Raised Fist motif used in a lot of socialist and labor-related propaganda-style designs (See the Wikipedia Article on the use of this symbolism.). (So, yes, before some Einstein points out that the fist bears a similarity to the Raised Fist icon, the similarity is intentional, but not a direct copy - similar to, but not as blatant as, PP's design a couple of weeks ago.

In the end, I much liked the alliteration of the last letters, and the better flow of the Italian.

Sorry, TN - it's a design I did several months ago, while experimenting with the effect, halftones, etc., and it is actually relevant to the design, itself.
