I respect both of you greatly, but this design is so unoriginal. RamyB has done at least two of these and TGentry has a shirt very similar (minus the astronauts) in the current spotlight sale.

I like the "lady in pink" design element. I would intentionally want the eye drawn to her because she cements the concept and is too small and easily overlooked otherwise.

My Call of Doodie shirt got rejected. I was expecting it, but had to test the Rejectinator. (It seems broken most of the time.)

Thanks, oakenspirit. Making the shadows project onto the wall was pretty tricky. I got some advice from some friends (definitely NOT just my mom...no srsly) and they said the shadows made sense. I did have some trouble getting them to look good so I'll tweak them some more if I get a lot of suggestions to do so.

You should reach out to Flattop for help, he did a great job a couple derby's ago with shadowing

I have to second the unoriginal sentiment. I do love the brightness though.

I tried to do this in several different ways, it was quite frustrating but it's here anyway!

First off, thanks very much for the compliment .

This derby was incredibly difficult to come up with a solid idea--you had to have a design that was both visually appealing and referenced a popular game (or else it'd lose votes even if people liked the design but hated the reference).

On top of all that, you need a design that can be visually appealing without the reference. Often times we forget, but the shirt's name doesn't get slapped on the shirt--and in this case it won't even accompany the shirt on the front page.

So what we ended up with was something we though people would enjoy on its own, but still satisfy all of the above criteria.

Seriously though, feedback is always welcome and I do appreciate constructive criticism.
