The check for working comes once a week, and the Retirement check (joke) comes once a month.

Yup, 1st and 15th. So another in the semi-monthly crowd.

I used to get paid on a monthly basis. Eventually switched to every two weeks. Re-budgeting was a bit tricky, since we got less pay in a given month (except for the two months a year where we got three paychecks), but it was nice for us salary folks to not get screwed on leap year when we worked that extra day for the same monthly check.

Twice per semester. And since I don't work during the summer, that equals four paychecks per year.

Once a month. Mine gets deposited on the 2nd Wednesday of the month. My pensions come on the first of the month, so I get paid twice a month.

everyday ..... I work for myself (or the entity that hold my mortgage)

I was always told the amount mattered more than the frequency.


Or is that backwards?
