Did you guys quit doing honorable mentions for the derbies? It seems like it has been awhile.

They still do it, it just seems to be not quite as frequent.

Looking at the blogs, it's been over a month ... and I'm not surprised by the delay, what with fewer on the staff now.

I grew up in Colorado, the land of no accent. Then spent 10 years in Wyoming, and 5 years in California. My significant other is also a pond hopper. Since I have terrible pronunciation, he often corrects me and JUST enough sticks that my boss now refers to my 'accent' as geographically confused.

I did, about a month ago, and the post was summarily deleted (which is one of the main reasons why I've been spending very little time here over the past five weeks).
