I like that the fireball looks kinda like an exclamation mark -- as someone in science, I have a tendency to say it as "SCIENCE!!" regardless of where it is in a sentence.

Plus the lambs fur gives them the whole Einstein fro and lab coat look, hah.

Actually I suppose lambs would be a perfect barnyard animal to develop science. They're practically ingrained in science, I mean look how common it is to find lambda in math and science text books.

Way to turn Oscar winning creepy into derby placing comic cute. I think kevlar's techy sheep may be nearing his whimsical robots on my glad to see in a derby scale.

Merry Christmas shirtwoot!

I don't know about you guys (also don't know the topic of the derby) but this looks like it could just as easily be called "Breaking BAAAAA-d"

Thanks a everyone (including you, Woot!)--I'm glad you enjoy these little critters. As long as we can keep them occupied with various activities the world should be safe.

Dolly was part of a more complex and secret plan that we ever thought!

Congrats Kevlar!:D

Some of these shirts including this one are very clever but why ruin the artwork by putting the meaning in big bold print? You could have left off the "Science of the Lambs" part and made the cool art bigger so people could have figured it out on their own.

Dang! Another shirt I gotta buy for work. Tshirts and jeans under the lab coat are the uniform and this will fit in nicely.

How is this 3rd? It should have some sort of DNA or explicit clone reference. Anyone remember Dolly?

Obviously comfortable having his chest stared at for 10 minutes straight.

Don't mean to be the only hater on here, but it feels almost like the artist made a pun of a movie title he heard somewhere without knowing what it was about or ever even seeing its iconic movie poster. Where's the connection, the homage, the "props" at least?
Like a shirt that says "Breaking Bat", and has a picture of Sammy Sosa snapping a bat in half, with no connection to Breaking Bad whatsoever. (i.e. no periodic table font, no chem suit etc.)
Just my opinion though, no need to go spreading it around.

Actually, you seem to have done exactly what you accuse the artist of doing.
You criticize "without knowing what it was about or ever even seeing" what the derby contest theme was about.
If you had read the theme (not too late! ) you would see it was a very well executed design.

I kind of want this, because I work at a science nonprofit. I wonder if I'd actually be allowed to wear it. My position doesn't even allow me to go casual on casual Fridays. :-( *sigh*

As soon as I saw this, I knew who I had to buy it for. I have a friend who was a sheep geneticist before retiring. I didn't know when her birthday was, but it happened to be just before I gave it to her! She absolutely loved it. She even did a study where they put goggles on sheep - she used old gas masks - to study the effect of light/dark on breeding.
