All the times derby shirts are blocked because of IP issues, and yet this goes live? Surely it's a trademark violation?

Cute shirt, but with the cuteness totally exsanguinated by the writeup. Totally ruins it for me. I kinda feel bad for the artist.

*wishes people could find a way to accept that the woot write-up isn't the only "story" behind these shirts* If you don't like the woot's story, make your own.

But enough about that.

So energy efficient kitty, eh. This does provide some incentive to get a cat. Maybe we could get some pompous legislative politician to pass a bill giving tax rebates to cat owners.

I agree. I am choosing to ignore the story. My interpretation is that the kitty is sleeping a lot; much like some energy efficient appliances go into "sleep" mode to save power.

disturbing write-up, but not enough to put me off the blue/cat combo. why must you repeatedly target my weaknesses?

So... wait... energy star appliances are powered by cats? *pulls out a screwdriver and goes to see if there are any energy star things in the house*

..i'm with you on this..saw the shirt, was ready to buy, then read the description..i do feline rescue ..see too much carnage/abuse to ever wear this shirt now...

I like the write-up. It has a kind of retro Monte-Python aura.

Got one right here. Operates off the grid, and even emits a soothing vibration. Also, pest-repellent.

I seriously love the shirt, but after reading the description I have decided to not buy it. It was that disturbing. Pity. Nice shirt and all.

Nobody is going to buy a shirt because of the write-up? I don't know if this the first day that all of you are on woot, but it was meant as a joke. Sadistic, yes, but dear God, you're all taking this stuff too seriously.

Nice idea... but it would have been better as a small logo above where the breast pocket would be - like where you'd find a company logo. Oh well.

Just for the shirtwoot virgins - The t-shirt artist has NOTHING to do with the goofy/funny/stupid/repulsive/weird/etc. writeup. And the writeup has nothing to do with the actual design of the shirt. I guarantee that the artist is referring to a sleeping cat, NOT a dead cat.

This looks like the purrrfect sleep shirt. I orded two -- the larger men's size for night wear and the women's for day.

Based on comments above, I'm going to skip reading the write-up today.

I couldn't agree more.

All of you griping about the writeup saying youre not buying the shirt? Youre not fooling anyone... you were NOT going to buy it anyway! Just an excuse.. who cares... those who really want it are buying it REGARDLESS... as the whole country is lit up as buying! Great shirt!
