Re: Saturday Morning Cartoons

I like the idea, but were any of the cartoons referenced here actually shown on Saturday mornings during their original runs?

Mal would make a good t-shirt series. Hopefully you can use him in a future derby.

Re: Leaf on the Wind

Just a constructive comment to the author - Using fonts that you know the name of, straight out of the box, is generally seen as kinda tacky xD;

Otherwise - <3 firefly, <3 the design.

You need to put this on a shirt template.

I was trying to see if the idea was done, but never found anything in my searches. I'm not shocked someone has this same idea. Thanks.

Only the second time I've ever tried a derby and I'm quite late to the party! This is my tribute to the classic comedy sketch "Who's on first?" as portrayed by one particular time traveler.

@Esoteric1081: I will surely wrangle a derpy dog illustration onto a shirt at some point in my woot derby career.

@tjschaeffer: As you can see, I tend to work during the hours where the human brain thinks everything that dances in front of it is a great idea.

@j5: Now if I could just find the point where my madness intersects with that of the rest of the population...

There's no maybe about it, having the image on a shirt template is a requirement and this will get rejected for it.

Alot of folks around here know the rules and wouldn't vote for this knowing it's doomed to be rejected. If you would have resubbed it immediately in the proper format then maybe you'd get some idea of it's popularity.

If you want to test or share ideas there's always the pre-derby post, and maybe a "Works in Progress" post in one of the forums.

"You can't just dress a Minion like Spock, and add a caption that says "Logical Me". There's a prison for people like that. Below my house."

I agree the concept is pretty bland. I tend to over-think designs, so I try and go the other way from time to time just to see how it goes.

If you are really hurting for an AD shirt, Walmazan's will be on sale tonight :P
