I am seeing Superman, Batman, Spider-Man, Iron Man.

But... why does Batman have a circle on his chest? IT makes sens that the superman logo is the right shape and iron man has a circle where the arc reactor would be, but (I'll say it again because I don't understand it) why does Batman have a circle on his chest?

It's cause the batman symbol is in the yellow oval

yes.
More to the point, the shadow is elongated, making the oval round. Notice the arc reactor is elongated also?

move along

I think a hero is an ordinary individual who finds the strength to persevere and endure in spite of overwhelming obstacles. They are the real heroes, and so are the families and friends who have stood by them. -CR

I didn't notice the camera in Peter's hand before. Nice. Small touches of detail really make this "super". Like Clark's glasses.

Excellent design, yes the mixing of DC and Marvel throws it off a bit but overall I like it.

most people will only be aware of them from the movies. not what parent company publishes the comics. one would hope......

I would love this as a laptop protector... so that the design showed when you had your laptop open. just a thought?

It is a shame we can't make suggestions after they come up. The medusa hair is throwing me off. Perhaps get rid of that and put the spidey symbol as what is in the suit.

Too bad this will only get printed on Anvil shirts. I'll never have it.

Change, Woot. Go back to American Apparel, or give me the option. If there is any reason your sales are lagging, Anvil is it. Those shirts are garbage.

Congratulations harzack! Although this can't have been easy to draw it was definitely worthwhile. Very dramatic persepective but with a clear concept.

Eagle-eyed viewers of that derby can see we have some damn fine shirts coming up in the next four days, at least two of which I will be buying. Congrats to you artists too. :^)

After my recent purchase of the "Meh" shirt I'm done with shirt.woot. These are the same garbage shirt stock used in the "10 for $10" shirts you find in tourist spots. Utter Yellow Brick Road.

Yes - I'm one of the horrible people that balked at the jump from $10 to $12 for the already rather flimsy shirt stock, this change virtually insures I'll never buy another, regardless of the artwork.

*.woot.com was fun while it lasted

You've been put on posting probation for this post

But really more to the point, using a bat shaped symbol would probably cross the copyright violation line this t-shirt is skirting.

what's with the squiggly lines coming out of spiderman's shadow's head? His spidey sense? If so, I don't get it. I don't see lines coming out of superman's shadow's eyes as if he's using his xray vision.

But for this detail which, as others have said makes it look more like medusa and less like spiderman, and what has been reported to be poor quality new shirts, I would be tempted to get this one.

Comic nerds are so cute, thinking their little books are what keep these men apart.

The more relevant criticism: "Three different movie studios, that'll NEVER happen." Heck, it's been almost 25 years since comics became serious movie business and they still can't get Bats & Supes on the same big screen.

Wouldn't it be funny if Disney and Warner merged. Poor Peter...

If this shirt is meant to represent superheroes and alter-egos... the designer gets 3 out of 4 stars. He would have gotten the 4th star if his depiction of Superman was correct.
Clark Kent should be the shadow; the other three became what their shadows represent, however Superman was always 'super', he became Clark Kent in order to fit into society....

Nope, the people who personally know Superman call him Clark.
