Ah, I loved playing the Oregon Trail. Dying of Dysentry became a game for me...see who in my party would get it first...wait, is that bad?
Nope, not looking it up. Yes, you know what, shirtwoot! writers. But nice boots addition to the 'Raise Dysentery Awareness' series.
Needs more peperony and chease.
I particularly like that the shirt is brown, which is both vaguely reminiscent of actual dysentery and useful to wear if you were actually experiencing.
Whenever I played, I named the members of my party people I didn't like.
Made the game much more enjoyable.
Dude, this shirt was MADE for me! I just moved from the Midwest to Portland and all of my friends kept making bad jokes about dysentery.
Uh oh, this shirt worries me that we will have frustration on the forums again. After all the people upset over Mount Rushmore yesterday, does this mean we can expect people from some state other than Oregon claiming to be the state that has more people who have "Died of Dysentery?"
On American Apparel for a buck extra? Sold! If Woot keeps doing the AA thing I'll happily pay extra (and start buying shirts again).
My father actually took us kids on the Oregon Trail for vacation. ( Drove it east to west back roads and all.) Stopped at all the historical markers. Saw wagon ruts that were preserved baked in the mud.
Oh we also vacationed following Lewis & Clarke (except for the canoeing part -- we followed the course by road) , the Mormons, and the Sante Fe Trail. Basically, if there was a trail west we followed it on vacation.
I didn't realize how lucky I was as a kid.
Got to get my dad this shirt for Father's Day !
Growing up in Australia I never got to experience this first hand, but since coming to woot it's been hard to stem the flow...of information. I was talking about the game, not the dysentery. Congrats boots and thanks for furthering my education.
I bought this shirt so hard.

Anyway, great shirt! Might purchase in the afternoon tomorrow.
After reading, "I blazed the Oregon Trail" my subconscious turned the frowny face into a basketball.
I was sold! You had me at Dysentery
I cannot figure out what the second word is... All I know is it starts with a B... ? Is it really "Blazed?" that doesn't sound right.

Sounds like Dwarf Fortress to me.
I never did end up playing that one...closest my family had was Amazon Trail.
Hey Montana, the Oregon trail did NOT cross through your state.
Hooray for dysentery!!!
In for 1 on American Apparel.
Still mad I missed the 'Don't Judge Me' shirt on American Apparel since I haven't bought a Woot! shirt in over a year because of the switch to that other brand of shirt.
Congratulations Boots! Hooray for dysentry!
(it's a what? a fatal bloody pooping disease... well i'm sure the emigrants always said 'someday we'll look back on this and laugh')
Fist daily shirt I have bought for myself in over a year. Thanks for adding the AA option woot.
As somebody that can almost see Register Cliff out my window and is 20 minutes from Fort Laramie, I just might have to get this shirt. If only it had a grave for poor Pepperoni and cheese.
Thanks, everyone! I tried to show my kid the original Oregon Trail today. He was into in for awhile then and all of a sudden I heard some sad music, a scream of "What!?," the slam of the laptop closing and the sound of footsteps stomping away in disgust. ...he must have tried to ford the river. Nooob.

The funniest woot comment ever!
Congrats x2 Boots x2.
Congrats on the print, Jamie!
I AM OFFENDED BY RECTAL TENESMUS!
Moar gratz for you, Boots!
Yay Boots! Congratulations!!!
I bet that trail Was BLAZING!
Congrats, Boots! This shirt will bring back good memories every time I take it out of my drawer.
I thought blazing a trail meant to mark or create it for the first time.
As far as I recall, none of the Oregon Trail games had you blazing the oregon trail.

I'm surprised this shirt is in danger of falling off the top 20 in its first week. It was a day-one purchase for me. (On AA, of course)
