This week your design must be inspired by arguably the greatest artist of all time, and inarguably one of the greatest minds humanity has ever produced. But, y'know, no pressure.

No pop-culture.

Crème, Brown, Olive, Royal, Lemon, Grass, Baby Blue, Navy, Cranberry, and Silver tees allowed.

Thank god TMNT is out.
Da Vinci... I hope pop culture also
eliminates "the code"

Does it though? Dan Brown "clamied" it was 99% historically based ;)

Not a difficult task. I could write a novel about my life and simply add an alien living in my attic, that no one new about, but me. That would be 99% historically based, right?
Dr. who can be 99% accurate, if he went back in time returned the characters just moments after they originally departed...

What are the chances we don't get another sorely needed flying penguins shirt out of this?

About the same as for a Vitruvian cat shirt.

HAHA Monalisaur is great!

I sketched this long ago and thought about repurposing it but it seems too obvious.

Too obvious is never a problem. If you want that $$$.

If that idea was on a shirt, I'd buy it.

This is an idea that I'm playing with. It's still a bit rough, but any ideas on color choice and/or comments would be appreciated!

Much prefer the olive. Very cool premise! Can't wait to see it develop.

Oh I like this. They didn't specify what kind of artist. They kept it broad.

Really nice! ^_^

Had you considered adding some faint background details of Da Vinci's studio?

I'm thinking of doing a shirt in the style of Tim Burton.

Here's a quick 2 minute drawing drawing

What do you guys think?

I hadn't, but that's a great idea. Alas, I have no time to fix it before the derby, and I'm heading out of town too. To quote Cathy, "ACK!"
