Re: Leonardo's Ink

This is quite stunning.
And the reverse Mona Lisa is both intriguing and wonderful.
It's Da Vinci alright, but it's also a wonderful design on its own merit.
Sincerely hope this gets printed.

Yeah, it means passion, like 'heart and soul', but here it just fits so perfectly, because that really is an artist's ink!

Yeah, it's just my silly take on a Leonardo designed tattoo... :P And "Herzblut" has now become one of my favorite words. Thank you for that!

Good job Collinvh, now I'm hungry ;)

I really like how the sesame pod is "spiting" out the seed, not to mention the awesome write-up.

Can we get a "translation" of the text? it's too small for me to read on my screen (and yes, I realize it's backwards)

Re: Strength and Beauty, Forever

Thanks, all!

I originally started this before valentine's day, but then started thinking about relating Pi and Phi (the Golden Ratio), and how the great artists and architects utilized these together, with Pi as the base of strength in the structures, and Phi as the base of a structure's beauty...

Da Vinci was the master at this...

The first paragraph basically describes what a dragon is, a legendary creature based on snakes or reptiles, found in european and asian cultures.

The second paragraph talks about animals that may have inspired dragons, like crocodiles, whales and dinosaurs.

I'm confused on why the text is backwards? Other then that, cool looking shirt.

Do some research on Da Vinci.

Thanks! Basically, that's how da Vinci wrote in his notes...backwards. So I'm rolling with the theme.

I'm always happy to see artistic designs like this.

Here's a tip for Photoshop. When using a Hard Round brush, adjust the spacing to 0% (25% is the default), that way you'll get sharper lines! Good luck my friend. Keep them coming!
