I'd like to see stats on the colors bought throughout the day. I'm predicting that White will not be in the top 20. I know it's a bold statement, but I'm going out on a limb.

I like that the key is on the back. And yeah Rosalind Franklin and Marie Curie. And yes, the neck ruff and time of year did trigger a "what's Shakespeare doing there thought.'

My hair's long enough to cover up most of the back, I think.

I have probably 50 woot shirts, so I'm no stranger to being stopped by a random stranger...the cool thing though, is I live in a pretty small town (35K people) but every once in a while at WalMart or the video store or some such, I'll see a fellow shirt nerd with a woot shirt on, and we'll share a thumbs up, high 5, or other such chicanery. I think we woot folk should develop a masonicesque type greeting. Or not...

In guess who, you can flip down people who don't match your criteria. How would one eliminate people on the shirt?

the correct dialogue is

"Boss shirt, boss."

"I know."

I saw someone wearing the BASIC Time Travel shirt the other week at a cook out and said "Boss Shirt Boss..." to which he replied...

well, he didn't reply... he looked at me like I was a Milk Duds.

I hate that! There should be a card in the shirt bag or put it on the invoice in bold. You go around looking like a Milk Duds. Yes, I am a victim as well. :-(

So how were the scientists selected? I ask because this is possibly the first time that an Indian scientist has been on a t-shirt, at least outside India.
Thanks for that. He needs more recognition especially for being the originator of radio.

I will try that next time. Hopefully I won't get the milk dud look, or even worse jujyfruit...

The only thing that's missing: Madame Curie should glow in the dark.
Now THAT would make this perfect!

This is off the subject, but I am highly amused that you think 35,000 is a "small town." I live in a town of 7,000... and it's the largest town I've lived in. :P

Not to be one that would play one up but...
I live in a town that has between 500 and 600 people. THe nearest mcDonalds is 72 miles away and nearest Starbucks is at least 150 miles probably closer to 200.
I mostly wear WOOT shirts and and more than a couple of people when they see me out and about will stop and ask what my shirt is today and does it mean anything.

Thanks for the scientist-choosing support guys I did a bunch of research and did my best to discern the people who really made a difference. I'm sure not everyone will agree... it was hard choosing some over others, but Tesla over Edison any day!!

I grew up in a town of less than 50. I can go help my parents and be outside all day and never see anyone else. The town has a gas station and a bank (I think the bank is still there) but nothing else.

I like that different inks are used on the tees. It's a nice design. And you can play spot the guy with the metal nose.

I'd like to humbly request the "all biology" or "evolution" edition, including: Mendel, Wallace, Huxley, Fisher, Haldane, Dobzhansky, Wright, Mayr, Maynard-Smith, Wilson, Margulis, Dawkins, Woese, Stearns, Shubin... (add your favorite)

I think they were saying that James Watson kind of looks like Obama on the shirt not that he should be on the shirt. Cool your t*ts

Only one woman? You could have at least put Ada Lovelace in there.

No Mendel but you put Schrondinger??

At least you have Rosalind Franklin with Watson and Crick.

Fleming should also be on the list. Oh well.

No Mendel = no buy.
