Should sell this one as a box set with cmdixon's Rain, Rain, Go Away.

patrickspens does add a polish to ideas; the stars and galaxies look amazing -- and like possible paint spatters all in the same glance.

Like Poe? Of course you do, you're here ; ) Try my new mystery novel:

Reminds me of The Truman Show, when Truman finds the door out.

This is my first woot shirt I hope it's as cool looking in person. What type of quality are there shirts, are these the thicker type cotton shirts or the softer cooler type fabric.

I feel like this should be on a canvas or my desktop, not a shirt.

Wish they had this as something other than a t-shirt (like a hoodie or a tote or something). I love most of patrickspens' designs, but I just can't justify another t-shirt right now. The dresser drawer won't close as it is.

Does this remind anyone else of Rob Dobi's work? He also has a Paint It Black shirt. https://www.merchline.com/fullbleed/categorydisplay.5072.c.htm

And his own Only Memories

I'd count up how many patrickspens shirts I own, but it's a moving target.

This is a really dope design and I have to say I'm glad to see something non-cutesy that's so well done from pspens. I'm sure there are other examples, but my stint in these parts only saw turtles etc.

Good job.

In some jobs, that's exactly what we do. But that doesn't mean the delivery time expectations are any more reasonable.

I've been very happy with my t-shirts. I get compliments every time I wear one. The old timers like the other shirts better. They are signing "The Way We Were" all the time. But times change I guess.

Ditto that. I'd also love to have it as a desktop wallpaper -- how about it, @patrickspens?

It's like, there's one design, but another being painted over it! Now that's fresh!

Dear Woot,

Is it possible to get a higher res image than http://d3gqasl9vmjfd8.cloudfront.net/62692c2a-5ba7-4f33-b9f7-0e684397fec9.png

This would make an amazing desktop background.

Thanks

From one artist to another, this would be far more effective if the night color scheme was not the same as the day. I feel my mind struggling to separate the two. If the stars in the Milky Way were more red, yellow, violet and blue (or even just hints of red, if numbers of colors is a limitation) with almost none of the cyan used for the sky, a color contrast would have been achieved that would make this pop (even more than it does)!

But, I love the concept! Great work.

I'm actually surprised the similarity to Rain Rain Go Away didn't get this one DQ'd. Don't get me wrong, I like it, I'm just surprised.

I would like to buy 3 of these, but the lack of any true integration of the Rolling Stones song, I can't justify it. The shirt is nice, but the dude isn't even painting anything BLACK. No red door? " I wanna see it painted, painted black
Black as night, black as coal
I wanna see the sun blotted out from the sky"
Any of the preceding lyrics would have made this shirt a great shirt. I guess I am just a die hard Stones fan and have higher expectations than most.

First line of the song says: "I see a red door and I want to paint it black"...

I really like the shirt design but honestly, if I saw this design (without the title) I'd never guess it was based on song lyrics/title

They are the softer cotton. Almost all of my shirts are thick cotton and they feel like they are higher quality. Though they feel that way, I haven't seen any signs of wear on my woot shirt that came quicker than on my thicker shirts.
