Heisenberg: "No. But I know where I am."

What is that scent? Fall? Burning leaves? Or perhaps a C&D?

My speech is not parsing. I am speaking in ellipsis.

Woot, I cannot believe that talented artists aren't submitting well drawn, wearable shirt designs. If not, print the better honorable mentions

I think it's more likely that the 55 sales in 12 hours wasn't getting it done.

I'm guessing the creepy no face kitty wasn't selling well...I'm not sure this is much better. The BK king guy always struck me as creepy too. Although again, this is a clever, albeit creepy, mashup.

I think it's more a function of lackluster sales.

I have a shirt catalog, y'all!

Two bad shirts in one day. I wonder if they will sell over 100 for the day...

AFAIK, this is the first time in shirt.woot history in which a new shirt was put up and was NOT due to an copyright or IP infringement.

(And not a shirt.woot-off ...)

This makes me sad-

We should turn this into a thread showing our last 5 daily rejections! ;)

Yeah, this thing is hideous. There area bunch of GREAT Breaking Bad shirts, this is NOT one of them.

Go ahead and start the Halloween themed shirts. They have to be better than this....

ok guys, (well girls mostly) random, outdated question. Just found out they change the shirt sizes life forever ago and need to change an order from last week. If I was a AA WXL (I'm curvy) should I get a WL or WM... now that some time as lapsed maybe someone can shed some more light on this subject for me. :-)

I'm a guy, but I think I can answer this one ... and alas, the answer is "it depends". From the info posted over all these months, if an AA WXL wasn't constricting, then an Anvil WM may be a closer fit. If it does, then an Anvil WL may be more suitable. Do note that the Anvil blanks taper out, are shorter, and will shrink a lot if you dryer dry.

For more information, the big discussion thread is here.

I loved Breaking Bad, but I hate Burger King. The King is creepy and this is even worse. Not to mention, the baby blue shirt.

2 overly creepy shirts, in one day, is more than enough for me.

If I think they are creepy, they have to be bad. I like some really weird stuff.

Yeah. Nothing says "Breaking Bad" better than baby blue.

If you hadn't put Heisenburger on the shirt I would not have gotten the Breaking Bad reference. It's still a stretch. The sun glasses aren't even close. This is just a bunch of bad clip art slapped on an ugly blue shirt. Whoever is picking these shirts lately should be fired. Seriously, if you don't know your customer base any better than this, you really should be fired.

I actually stared at it for about 30 seconds trying to figure out how it even remotely resembled Werner Heisenberg before I thought of Breaking Bad. Either way...No.

Don't feel bad, they obviously don't want designs that may sell over 50 shirts.

Week after week good art rejected/looked over so the same old crappy artists keep getting printed. One such artist complained on her FB page that she wouldn't win that week because Woot screwed up the demographics by offering voters a prize. It just wasn't fair. Her fan voters were outnumbered and she didn't get printed. boofinghoo.

Don't feel bad.... My better half has more daily rejects than that. He does mostly "guy" shirts and has even done a couple of "cute" shirts, from my persuasion ! He always gets the standard reject letter... go see the types of shirts we print here for our daily picks. Ok.... umm, well not seeing any kind of sales growth here.....

I love your shirt, Toil and Trouble, I got it last week !

Dear Woot,

If you're going to change shirts in the middle of the day (breaking your own rules), have the decency to leave the shirt you change out the price you set in the morning.

And maybe comment on why it happened when several people inquire about it.

nickomatic

Wow, I would like to add that this is the most useless shirt ever. I've seen some bad ones but this one is really Bad. Also Amazon, really? The exclusivity of the shirts was the whole deal to allow them to be printed on demand destroys all that. It was good while it lasted, thanks shirt woot, it was a blast.

They probably couldn't slot it into the reckoning, so it'll have to be manually added to the catalog. With that said, the latter half of the day typically accounts for 42% of the debut day's sales, so there's probably still some market for it.
