Good morning everybody! We are going to the beach. Weather is supposed to get cold mid week. We are trying to get all of our clutter moved out so we can have the carpet cleaned before Thanksgiving. I bet other people have the same plans. We may do it our selves with a rental unit. The sooner I get out of bed the sooner I can get back from the beach and have coffee. Have a great day y 'all!

Very true! By the way I miss the poop report. There is only so much I can say about dad's elimination habits. It does appear that the green urine was something he ate. Have no idea what.

We are going to visit his sister and husband this week starting on Wed. I am trying to help my 82 year old aunt let go of the management of a trailer park she has built up over the years. She is having trouble but is finally realizing that her health really isn't up to continuing. It's kind of funny and sad when the legally blind person has to fill out the paperwork because she can't read. The scary thing is she still drives!

On a different note I see the oral surgeon tomorrow to see if there is enough bone to put implants in my upper jaw to help hold my new denture in place. I will be so glad to get my teeth fixed!!!

I can continue the poop reports, if you want.

I'll need an implant. I have 4 root canal on the top right. They are only suppose to last 20 years. The oldest is 26.
I have some sort of weird growth on the roof of my mouth (dentist said don't worry about it). I means I can't have dentures.
but it isn't a problem yet!

Good morning everybody! I also miss Gman. We are going to so the same stuff we did yesterday. I'm pretty sure we are going to list the condo for sale. We need a house. Sigh...I love the view of the ICW. There are houses on the ICW but they are frightfully expensive. The realtor wants to schedule a showing over Thanksgiving.

Going to the beach before it gets windy and cold. Have a great day!

Morning!

Took yesterday off from work, came in to find some 'changes in structure'. Ugh, drama.

Also, first snow.

As snow goes, it's not impressive, but it is the first of the year.

Got a behind the scenes tour of the Jenkinson's Aquarium last night. Was interesting, fun to see, even more fun to have the run of the place. Took a ton of pictures, so will have to wade through to find some that are decent enough to share. And interesting enough...I doubt most people would care to see pictures of filtration systems. :D

We got snow too. That is why mom day is tomorrow.
Only on the grass. Because I have trees, the snow didn't get to the grass.
Still haven't had a good enough rain storm to see if the new roof and skylights are good.

The link doesn't work in this country. But that shouldn't matter to Gman.

He is being buried next week.
Arlington.
I know it took awhile before my aunt was buried there.
I think the 17th.

Dire Straits, "Brothers in Arms", a great song, I am sure there is a US approved version on YT.

Very cool about Arlington.

d'name here, since I have no other use for these links anymore, I'll post the song in this post:

Husband discovered a few months ago that he likes MY recliner better than HIS recliner. Every once in a while I have to throw HIM out of MINE. He needs a new one and I bet he gets one more like mine this time. His is like a big marshmallow that you sink into (many people have trouble getting out of it). Mine is more firm.

Hubby let son throw out our good recliner. It did need to be redone, but it was great. The one we have isn't that good. We will have to pick more carefully next time.

My mom really needs a new one. Actually she needs one that would rise up to get out. She'll never do it, it was stepdads favorite chair.

At least he got to pick furniture! My dad and I had to live with Mom's choice complete with plastic covers.

Step dad even got rid of the plastic covers.

Husband got a thank you note today with a return address label of no one he's ever heard of and signed with three names of no one he knows, thanking him for his generous contribution to hospice in their father's name. From Lexington, KY. It's going to drive him crazy.

I want to know what "generous" means.

so.....

my vacuum cleaner (central vac) died - needs a new circuit board - about 80 bucks

jeep died today - no idea what's wrong - had to have it flat-bedded

realized today that passport is expired - need it for January travel. $110 bucks for a passport these days

that's what I get for saying I had a few extra bucks and was happy that I was able to give my boss $$ on Tanners surgery bill. She turned around and let me use her car to get home tonight - her (relatively) new Audi.

*sigh*
