yep. he really didn't have too many bad days. just really kinda crashed and burned on me at the end of last week. He did have some sort of bizarre vestibular episode the night before Santana's surgery 2 weeks ago...may have been a stroke. I think that kinda started him on the downhill slide, but really not bad until Sat.

Santana, btw, had his front leg amputated due to a cancerous tumor in the soft tissue surrounding his wrist that was eating away at all of the bones underneath.

Hey all, just dropping by to see if Ice came in, no reply to me either.

I'm helping Ver1 make origami to sell in her class market on Friday (they all are doing their own businesses). When I approved her business plan I talked her into only doing half as much merchandise as she wanted, only 10 more pieces, but since each one takes her 30 mins to fold, I've picked up the slack. I haven't done origami since I was her age.

Lol!!!

Sounds like joey would out-cranky even my crotchety mean ass cat who still thinks she can fight even though she outweighs the schnauzer? Of course, there is the barking crazy schnauzer who can make anyone lose their mind.

She's trying to live up to her Xena the warrior schnauzer moniker

That's a beautiful photo Lynn, sorry to hear about your loss. Dogs give us so much in the brief time they share their lives with us and ask so little in return, just some food, a little play and a belly rub or ear scratch. Now you will have to excuse me, I seem to have gotten something in my eyes, so after I wipe them I'm going to go give my two Labs a little belly rub and scritch that special place behind their ears..

My dogs like me, that is important.

Good morning everybody! The new Harraha's Cherokee Valley River Casino broke ground Tuesday. Looks like it will be cool. I'm excited about the 900 jobs. I may have the name of the wrong river. We have two rivers.

I hope somebody gets a reply from Ice.

Lynnzoi and I both grew up in different parts of western PA, more northwestern. I'm from near Erie and I can't remember what her hometown is. And if you read Edlada's posts above, he's also originally from Erie, but now lives in Poland.

Morning all!

Frosty again this morning, but not too bad. Cloudy to the east, which improves the drive in to work.

Got 2 more hydrangeas cleaned up for winter. It was nice, so I wore a short sleeve shirt and got bit by 'something'...not a mosquito. It itches, and hurts. Sigh.

My speech is not parsing. I am speaking in ellipsis.

And believe it or not, the weather here in western Poland is better. Now eastern Poland, well that's a different story. No one moves to Poland for the weather anyway. Come to think of it, not to many people move to Poland for any reason!

Just got back from visiting husband. I think he's doing a little better. He didn't gripe constantly today. They let him walk down the hall with me instead of an aide today (still with a walker). In doing so, I found a microwave which will help matters quite a bit.
