Well, how do you fare compared to the Zeitgeist? Chat up your fellow wooters and let us know how lame this poll was or what obvious choices we missed. For example: Was this poll a) STUPID, b) DUMB, c) POINTLESS or d) ALL OF THE ABOVE?

Both; when it's 20 below, you need both.

Both for sure, the high has been -10 for the past week. Thin layers under a big coat is the only way to go.

South Florida - my winter coat is a leather jacket.

Depends on what I am doing. Walking to my car and then into work, a coat is fine. Hitting the slopes, building snowmen, or a big snowball fight, layers and a lighter coat are better.

Let's see the quality impulse buys!

Yep. The coat can always be unzipped.

When it gets cold outside all of our local restaurants and businesses turn the heat up making the place hotter than it is normally - why would you do this when everyone is dressed in their warmest clothes! Does anyone else experience this?

That was my long way of saying layers. Although I would prefer to just toss on a cozy sweater and big coat.

Layers. Today's shirts are Made of Carbon and Schrödinger’s Equation L/S. I also have a Desperate Measures hoodie on standby.

Yes, I noticed!
This drives me crazy when they raise the heat in the buildings!

Layers unless there is serious storming and then I have a pullover hooded parka of the bright red variety.
