I live in Iowa and I have never heard of a Wendigo.

I'm pretty sure the "Here Be Wendigos" is in the wrong area.

The Wendigo is part of the traditional belief systems of various Algonquian-speaking tribes in the northern United States and Canada (great lakes region)

love the shirt, but I can't get past the "here there". Isn't it just "here be dragons" (yes, I know it's "monsters" in this case).

Here There just seems so wrong to me.

I'm so disappointed... no pigmy indians or sandpanthers? rattletoads hollin'-who's-its ... not even the swamp thing?

did this guy spend anytime listening to the campfire stories of old-timers?

Only a few, I guess.

Soooo, no monsters in Alaska or Hawaii. Good to know.

Also, upon my first glance, I read that as saying monsters be up there in Canada. ;P

You delegated doing the write-up to Lewis? Don't you think he has enough to do? What is wrong with you people?

I guess it improves the writing quality, at least.

It's a cool idea, but as a Floridian I'm sad you forgot the Skunk Ape/Swamp Ape (our version of Bigfoot/Sasquatch with stories dating back 100s of years).

Huzzah! So happy this one printed! One of my favorite design/ideas in some time- Grats on the print- and I like how it compliments your other one.

I have to know..."Here there be monsters" above the US. Is that just the title of the map or is it a commentary on Canada? Regardless, I think it would be perfect for my Canadian born wife.

Hey, the Jackalope is an Arizonan critter! Why, I saw one just the other day.

We have the Rougarou/Loupgarou here in Louisiana. It's the Cajun version of a werewolf.

I really like the idea and the look of the graphic, but as others have stated it needs more. "Champ" isn't there either
And I agree that the "title" and its location is also a little off.

Perhaps you've missed a few episodes of 'Bigfoot Hunters' but sasquatch are EVERYWHERE!

Except, it seems, in front of a camera.

Pretty much sums up my exact reaction. I know the text is in Wyoming, but it is just isn't close enough for me.

But, my love for crytozoology might just win out over the frustration of the jackalope being located too far south.

Shame, but that blank spot under “Wendigos”, and infront of “Mothmen” would have been perfect for, “Here be Piasa.”

I think if you added to many monsters to the shirt. You'd have every stranger on the street wanting to check out your map.
