My first thought: WHY DID YOU HAVE TO REMIND ME?!

Edit: not you, jinx13red, the designer of the shirt.

Obviously a post-Serenity design. RIP Wash and the Shepherd.

My wife and I were lucky to see an early screening in Austin along with Nathan Fillion and Ron Glass. Studio folk were there and polled everyone as they left the theater. I heard a many "why Wash?" comments.

My wife giggled when they showed Mal's rear and pointed at him sitting in front of us.

My son, the browncoat, just ran upstairs crying "I must have two."
I'm thinking he'll be up for a hoody digitally printed some day.

In honor of Day One of SDCC.

I have a Whedon fan/coworker who has seen everything Buffy, but no Firefly yet. We're gonna begin to rectify that this weekend. Since I'm not going to San Diego.

Pardon me, would you have any bags of crap?

Really nicely executed design - the characters are spot on. Love Mal's little smirk :D Right, time to misbehave...

Instsa-buy for me (well, in the morning when I wake back up). I'd buy one for my husband since he loves Firefly more than me even, but alas, Woot shirts are too short for him.

I'm so conflicted. I really want this, but I make it a point to not wear designs with weapons.

Not enough room for Wash. It spells Shiny (can only see in thumbnail).

The likenesses are are really well done. No question who is who in this one. Missing Mr. Tudyk, but I guess you can only say this shirt came after the movie.

As a Firefly fan, I say yes!

This is SO good, but temptation has left me. Just can't do it w/o Book and Wash.

Might as well have a signature now since I have something to put into it.

I'm with you. I really wanted it until I realized no Book and no..no.., NO WASH!!! sigh.

The artist clearly isn’t aware that there was a TV series prior to the movie.
Wash and Sheppard Book have been lumped in with Mr. Universe and the Operative as non-primary characters.
Sorry, but there are too many better Firefly shirts.

There would be room for one more person by replacing Jayne's gun (and probably moving some people around). If these were chosen to fit the end of the movie though, makes sense I suppose.

I always wanted to design a shirt that celebrates the current Firefly family. Smaller but still damn shiny.

Did you hear Zoe is bringing a +1? (see the official continuation on from the movie in the comic mini-series Leaves on the Wind!)

Thanks for the perfect replies and nice comments, and thanks Woot for printing this during $10 July.

Wash and Book as ghosts on the back, or just standing arm-in-arm would have been nice.

If the latest Whedon napkin art is canon then Wash lives. (I am down for this, no explanation necessary :p)

Yes, I was tempted to squeeze a dinosaur toy in there somewhere but c'mon people, live in the now. The future. The future now.

My problem with it isn't necessarily that Wash and Book are missing, but the design starts out strong and ends weak. The first three letters are good, but then having Inara's cape(?) bridge the "N" and Kaylee globbledygushing all over Simon for the "Y" just doesn't work for me.
