A librarian's dream shirt!

I'm a little confused - is this a white shirt that "turns black" and glows in the dark during nighttime?

As much as any white thing turns black when it's in the dark.

and that's when the book titles become visible with the glow in the dark ink?

That is correct.... think of the outline of the titles glowing... the lack of glow ink on the text causes that to remain dark.

Woo, congrats, Fishie! A very worthy message indeed!

According to the back catalog, the last time a white shirt printed was February 25, 2013 and the last time a white shirt won a derby was November 23, 2012. It may be a loooooong while before we see another white shirt print -- so stock up on this while you can, folks!

Good for you,my fellow fish! And good for the voters for sending a shirt with such a positive message to the top 3!

Not a fan of white shirts, but also in possession of dye so I can make it a new color. My only question is would the glow in the dark ink be noticeable when I dye it? I'm figuring since it will penetrate both side of the fabric while the ink is only one it wont be an issue.

Anyone ever tie dyed a shirt here?

Yes it would, as the GITD ink has a white underbase. It'd blend in on a white shirt, but change the color and it won't anymore.

Guess I need to add A Princess of Mars to my reading list. It's the only one I haven't read.

Why, oh why, can't shirts that would make great teacher/librarian gifts print on totes as well? I really, really, really want to get this for our much loved school librarian, but cringe at playing "guess her size".

I was able to scan it twice w/ QRReader. The first time, it came up as a stand for a snare drum. The 2nd came up as this:

Here's to hoping for a power outage at work so customers can actually see how awesome the shirt is!

Which means your barcode scanner is broken, not that the barcode is valid.

I think people are having issues scanning because there are no start/stop symbols (usually encoded as an asterisk) and the inter-symbol spacing is wider than it should be. Pity, because I'm a fan of hiding messages in barcodes, especially on T-shirts!

It wasn't meant to be an actual barcode. I was just having fun with art.

Not sure where you info comes from... but this shirt printed in July and it's white. Very white. I bought one.

As linked, the back catalog. White, sorted by most recent. In other words, they didn't categorize that shirt in properly.

My son absolutely loves books, and so does my wife... and my son loves glow-in-the-dark stuff. This shirt is great!

Unfortunately, it looks like Woot has dropped kids-4 sizes (and kids-6)!
I looked back and it looks like it happened on August 1st (another shirt I thought of getting, since we're all Doctor Who fans).

Woot?! What are you thinking?

I hope you realize you're losing a lot more sales than just the single shirts you've eliminated. Whenever I buy shirts for my son, I always buy a duplicate for either my wife or myself, or both (in this case, you're losing out on 3 sales because you eliminated one size). My son thinks its fun when we wear the same shirts (yeah - we're geeks).

I'm sure we're not the only ones who do this. Please bring back the smaller sizes!
