Well, how do you fare compared to the Zeitgeist? Chat up your fellow wooters and let us know how lame this poll was or what obvious choices we missed. For example: Was this poll a) STUPID, b) DUMB, c) POINTLESS or d) ALL OF THE ABOVE?

I agree totally Clean water. Growing up Chicago tap water was ruff, but moving onto a glacier plain was the best water I've ever had out of a tap.

I live near a swamp. You need to remove that as an option.

Thanks to up-to-the-minute tracking, I don't track my package so much as stalk it.

I was thinking 'swamp'.

Mostly because I like saying that word...

I'm partial to retention ponds. All the benefits of a natural pond (Mosquitoes, Alligators, Algae Blooms), but in a densely populated area!

Rivers. It's the only option that doesn't involve sharks, mosquitoes, or maintenance.

The Ocean has been known to whip up storms that kill people in mountains hundreds of miles away, I say why tempt fate, live near a lake.

Lakes are like zero maintenance swimming pools that you can get dinner out of and as long as there are no beavers they tend not to flood.

The risk of flooding in the 100-yr zone is 1% per year. That works out to 27% chance during a mortgage. To have the same flood risk as fire risk, live outside of the 500-yr flood plain.
