Every Ghoul’s Crazy ‘Bout A Sharp Dressed Fiend
It’s a fine scene to behold, isn’t it? Seeing a young ghost putting their laundry out in preparation for the upcoming holiday is one of those things we’ve all come to expect around this time of year.
But what about those more unfortunate spirits and ghouls in our community, the ones who can’t afford a crisp clean garment for the season’s spooking? Do they deserve to dwell in their lonely Limbo just because they don’t have the money or the resources to mend their tattered rags or wash away the blood and protoplasm stains that so many of us take for granted? We here at the Scares and Cares Foundation don’t think so.
That’s why from now until just before Halloween, our volunteer staff members will be going from haunted house door to maniac mansion door leaving our signature donation boxes in communities all over the Afterworld. Simply bring the box inside, fill it with whatever linens you might wish to donate or place a check in the included envelope, then bring it down to your local Scares and Cares facility. With your help, we’ll be providing tens of thousands of freshly prepared “scare-clothes” for those who might go without otherwise.
This Halloween, don’t let tricking the living get in the way of treating those who need it. After all, isn’t it about time you gave a sheet?
