I Want One!

All Aboard For Digestion, Excretion, and Points South

From Monday through Thursday this week, Shirt.Woot will be selling some of our favorite non-winning designs from the first few weeks of our Derby. There may be no second acts in American lives, but it turns out there are second acts in American t-shirt design competitions.

You're trying to get to the liver? See, what you wanna do is take the red line past the stomach, then switch trains at the small intestine. Green line'll take you right there. Oh, you need to get to the appendix after that? Get back on the green line, back to the small intestine, switch to the red southbound, then get off at the large intestine station. The purple express goes right to the appendix. Whatever you do, stay off the blue line. It winds up in a pretty bad neighborhood.

This shirt was designed by: just two years out of college, armed with little more than Adobe Illustrator and a dream, software designer Jack Anderson struck out boldly into the wilds of graphic design. As a resident of Manhattan and an owner of a complete set of bodily organs, he knows a thing or two about subway maps and anatomy. Now you do, too.

Wear this shirt to: guide your food through the complex network of byways and spurs known as your digestive system. Food's pretty stupid.

Don't wear this shirt to: the operating table in a sprawling western city like Phoenix or Las Vegas. They don't really do public transportation out there, and you'll only confuse the surgeons.

This shirt tells the world: "My internal organs may not be pretty, but at least they make the trains run on time."

We call this color: Gastrointestinal White.

Please check American Apparel's sizing chart for men or for women before you order. The Woot Tee, constructed by American Apparel, follows their classic closer-fitting style. If you prefer a baggier look, order a larger size. If there is not a larger size, consider starting a belly-hanging-out trend.

(Unless you spend the $5 for Overnight Shipping)
