What is it about island nations and geeks? Anime, instant noodles, katanas, King Arthur, jousting, Monty Python, if it comes from an island that once tried to take over the world, geeks are sure gonna be into it. In fact, you could probably win all sort of geek support for any little project, just by connecting yourself to one of those islands.
Now a place like Jamaica, or Trinidad, or Hawaii, a place like that never bothered to try and take over the world. That sort of place is all about fun, and sitting on the beach, and maybe some music without any superfast electric guitar. So of course that means it’s just a frat boy paradise. Just a bunch of mouth-breathers, right? No geek’d ever want to go to a lame place like that.
But hey, we hear there’s this little obscure island where the Vikings used to hide out after their sieges. Wouldn’t that be a great place for a vacation?
