Cross-Tee Traffic

There's just one problem with big days off like Labor Day earlier this week: everybody else has the day off, too. But these non-commuters aren't letting the congestion get them down. They're rockin' out, cookin' out, and, uh, doing whatever those two people are doing just to the left of the DAY OFF sign (our guess: playing cricket). Through it all, the rounded corners, curvy buses, and muted green 'n' gray palette recall the best of the post-psychedelic '70s, like the cover of one of those later Miles Davis albums where the cover art was better than the music.

This shirt was designed by: the redoubtable James Cho, showing a completely different vibe to his trip than we've seen in past favorites like The Organic Light Beam and Reality Isn't For Everyone. He's working on a freelance site of his own, which we'll point you to the next time he occupies this space.

Wear this shirt to: lobby your local transport authority for light rail, to get some of those cars off the streets.

Don't wear this shirt to: a bar, if you're a woman. You won't be able to tell which guys are staring at the details on the shirt, and which are staring at what's under the shirt.

This shirt tells the world:
"It's my way or the highway, but in this case they're the same thing."

We call this color:
Exhaust-Fume Gray.

What are Top Comments?

Top Comments are discussion forum posts we have deemed worthy of your time. Listen, we get a lot of comments, and most of the time, it's pretty forgettable stuff; but sometimes you rise to the top like butterfat in milk. We don't recommend you base your self-worth on how often we feature your comments, but we don't expressly forbid it either.
