The way I think my Dad told it is, they were these machines that would do everything you told them to. Except you didn’t tell them with your voice. You told them by poking at some knobs or twisting some levers or something.
And the computer wouldn’t really do what you told it. It would only do it, like, for pretend on this thing, what did they call it? A minotaur? Anyway, this minotaur or whatever was like a flat moving picture where you could see the computer doing what you told it to do. Or poked it to do, I guess.
So yeah, the people learned how to poke the knobs just right to do things more easier, and I bet this shirt is a joke about that. I don’t know why it’s funny. Why are you asking me? I’m just telling you what my Dad said. Anyway, shut up and keep digging. We might find something in all this garbage that we can use.
Wear this shirt: if you laughed when Homer couldn’t find the “any” key.
Don’t wear this shirt: if you insist on saying “command” instead of “control”.
This shirt tells the world: “Touch me in two of the right places at the same time and I’ll do exactly what you want.”
