First they were Fugu, and that was just Makiz and Nori and a couple other guys. And that didn’t work out, so the two of them formed Red Hot Iron and added Philly for that creamy guitar sound. And that did well, but it wasn’t until Seattle, where they picked up Kid Dynamite, that they really kicked into high gear.
Critics sometimes say they’re a little too raw, and fans of the processed sound wouldn’t be caught dead at one of their concerts, but their recent tour of the Far East was a huge success, so you can be sure, you haven’t heard the last of these fellows.
