Re: Consider Yourself Warned
I was about to vote, but I thought it would be easier if I just make my own!
Re: It is Rocket Science!
Re-Submitted with a color adjustment. Somewhere in the process, things got a little too....teal, and it didn't match the official color anymore. Now that it's fixed, I like it better with the darker blue. Thanks Mavyn for letting me know!
Re: Support Moonscience
very striking design!
Awesome! Glad to help, hope it blasts off!
Re: Trust In Newton
Now that's teamwork! heh
Re: Conquer (American Version)
We must take it before they do!

lol If it gets anywhere I definitely owe you guys one! Thanks for the comments!
Re: Human Testing
ZOMG! KF is back! Waugh!
Re: Conquer (Russian Version)
To our glorious future, comrades!

Thanks! But I had to re-sub, my colors were off.
Re: Wind Works
Cool! Great message.
My brother (the family aerospace engineer) would love this!
Re: Solder On
Yes!
Re: The God Particle
This would be MUCH better without the "Find The" part of the text. i.e. Keep Calm and Higgs Boson
Re: Birds Of Prey
Oh no! Now I'm hungry for fried Velocirapor with biscuits! Great design - voted! Good luck!
sheenachu wrote:My brother (the family aerospace engineer) would love this!
My Brother-in-Law has a degree in Aeronautical Engineering. We loved being able to say "He *is* a rocket scientist!" Sadly, he doesn't work in his field anymore, there was more money in computer programming.
Re: Team Tesla
The Oatmeal would be proud.
paleodon wrote:Kinda torn here. Good drawing and propaganda design (though using an outdated picture as representation of evolution) but it doesn't really address the other half of the theme, because part of the reason science IS awesome is that it doesn't require belief. Could reference supporting with evidence instead. As a grad student, still hoping to see a print with this cool idea!
I agree. You don't have to believe it: change happens!
Re: Support science
There may have been a very dignified giggle-snort when I saw this.
You sir, are the awesome sauce.
grrlmarvel wrote:Great... now I'm gonna have that song stuck in my head.
Me too. Oof.
YES!

Hmmm... You may be right. My original thought was Keep Calm And Baryon, but it doesn't really mean anything. I thought this worked as a sentence, and is something you'd see on the wall at the retro-future secret underground laboratory.
Re: Buy Chemical Bonds!
I'd recommend losing the first two lines. The second one is completely unnecessary. "Destroy the genes of opression!" is a decent line but you lose the powerful and straightforward simplicity of "Buy chemical bonds!" with any other text.
Re: Science is Watching You
Inspired by this poster.
Thanks for the critique I appreciate it. I think If I got rid of the text though there would be too much negative space under the fist.
Re: Quantum Mechanics Has Uncertain Principles
Uncertain principles, like heavy drinking, gossiping, and the uncertainty whether position and momentum can be known at the same time.
Very cool! Love the vintage animation feel it's got!

Re: Ionic Bonds
When sodium (Na) and chlorine (Cl) are combined, the sodium atoms each lose an electron, forming cations (Na+), and the chlorine atoms each gain an electron to form anions (Cl−). These ions are then attracted to each other in a 1:1 ratio to form sodium chloride (NaCl)... AKA Table Salt.... get some today!
I voted for this shirt, not only because it is awesome and Tesla rocks, but also because I hate Thomas Edison.

Like the robot, not sure about the yellow shirt.
This is fantastic!

Maybe: Keep Calm find Higgs Boson

FuzzyDunlop is pointing out the similarities between Mr. Spens design and the juxtaposition of these:
It's like another shirt printed on another site. Kinda but not.
aperium wrote:Love the idea. Less fond of the actual design.
agreed. The idea is great but I'm not really feeling the huge text or the colors
