Re: Night Owl Cola

This is actually very pretty, but I don't get the reference if there is one.

Thanks! Maybe more old school than I thought. One of my kids had never heard of: silly rabbit, Trix are for kids. I think that I have failed him in some sort of fundamental way.

I meant the lining up on the right, but since dragon is longer than dairy, the alignment is not going match exactly no matter what you do. Looks good as is- just my two cents.

Meh. Kids aren't the ones purchasing (or voting for) shirts.

Yeah, I'm gonna ask that you take this design out of the running as it's incredibly close in execution to my design of the same name.

Re: Have a nice winter

The "have a nice day" slogan and smiley face was created in 1970 in Philadelphia (represent!), and was parodied in Forest Gump. Neat.

Re: Night Owl Cola

This is really nicely done. GMV You should also do a sister design that says "Night's Watch" with the owl a crow instead!

Why the hell are people glorifying this stupid little idiot by making shirts with her apparent catchphrase? O.o

True. But in my day, if we wanted to waste our time watching cartoons, we had to watch the commercials as well. Netflix has ruined a generation.

I don't think he owns Teefury. It's been there a while. Woot can do what they want but it wouldn't be cool to the other designer if they print it.

This would have got my vote if it didn't have that solid blue block and text on the side. The picture alone would have been great

Re: Vintage Bread Lover

Well, this brings back memories.

I used to see Wonder Bread advertised on the Captain Kangaroo TV show... Captain really knew how to sell it too. He always told us to ask our moms to get the bread with the red, yellow, & blue balloons on the wrapper. I asked again and again! lol gmv

Words are connected, usually. Spelling changes as cultures collide.
I really thought there was an h in cord, like chords in music. Something having dis-chord, to lack harmony.
My logic is good, my facts are flawed.

Nicely designed! gmv

PS. Don't feel bad about the spelling typo...you aren't the only one.

A couple of days ago my husband and I were playing hangman. He had me stumped on the word I was trying to guess. It turned out that his word was misspelled... Eggyoke, instead of Eggyolk. (And not only that, I just discovered that egg yolk is not a compound word! We had a good laugh together over "yoke vs yolk" but I don't have the heart to tell him about the compound part...)

I have a "gift" of my own, which I can't show off on this website. I am a pretty good speller, but I am also great at... mispronouncing words! I've really made some loo loo boo boos. So we take turns laughing at each other.
