Double meh entry! Walmazan knows what's popular.

I think they're different enough, Narf. Meh is like Cheezeburgerz; Cats just can't get enough.

stanwillis wrote:Yes, I wondered the same thing. I've been using the silver a lot. I started with the baby blue and felt the worked well...I just lost the shape around the sky. I went back and forth several times. The brown seemed too dark for the mood in my mind. I really appreciate your insight. Thanks a ton!

One of the hardest things (IMO) when going to this medium is integrating the shirt color into the design, and integrating the design into the shirt. It's a tough balance. Your style and eye for composition appears to be really good -- looking forward to seeing your stuff in future derbies!

Unfortunately, you can't use cream tees. Resub on another color because this won't have any chance of printing as is.

...and for a bald guy who looks like q tip w glasses, I'm quite the looker too. She's so lucky!
...actually, with the weight I've gained over the past few years and my Idaho winter tan, I actually do look more like an avocado.
...sigh....I should tell my wife how much I love her.
Thanks for letting me use your forum for some much needed self reflection.

It's the silhouette of Ash from Army of Darkness. He wields a chainsaw and a shotgun. One if his trademark quotes is a deadpan "Groovy", which is why I tied together the 60's theme with that character and symbolism.

Here's a frame from the movie:

stanwillis wrote:This design became more sentimental than I'd originally planned, but as I thought of designing this around the idea of a "happy place" I kept thinking of time with my kids. I'm still learning how to use digital tools. Hope this works...Good luck everyone! ;)

Wow, such detail. I think the sentimentality really comes through on this. Well done, @StanWillis

It's too bad creme is still out; it's a much warmer color and I feel it'd work better with the heartwarming nature of this design.
