Woot's legal team will gather the necessary evidence from our records and then go shake their big legal fist at the jerks who stole it. We rarely have any trouble getting them yanked from the site. Sadly, our lawyers don't work weekends. So, it will probably be Monday before they have a chance to shut the thieves down.
I appreciate the quick replies on this. I am sure it will get pulled, but what about the sales of the shirt itself? On TF's facebook page they had a whole slew of people posting and tagging friends to buy the shirt, do the purchasers of the knock-off get the shirt anyway? Will Kritti get any "piece of the pie"? That is "lost wages" if I ever heard of it.
Krittikae has been anxiously waiting to see one of her designs "in the wild" (not one of our friends wearing one). It would be so sad to see it from one of these stolen designs instead of from the original from woot.
I don't know if you CAN answer these questions, but if you can any feedback is majorly appreciated. We want to pursue this as far as we can to stick up for all of the artists that are victims of this type of debauchery.
