I didn't find the interface user-friendly or intuitive; there was QUITE a learning curve.
I'll probably work some new Blender art into the derby at some point.
Whew that's the understatement of the century! I know a bunch of related software (video editing software and 3D animation software) and I found Blender to be very hard to get into. Like a lot of open source art software, it's come such a long way in the past few years, and is a really viable alternative now.
But yay for shout-outs for open source software!
