acraigl wrote:Fair point. I subbed 4 designs for that derby, Fractions being the last, on a whim. I didn't bother to research it, and if I had, I probably wouldn't have submitted it. Ultimately I'm glad I did, but I still say we should strive for originality here. 😁

Just giving you a hard time. I agree with your point and as evidenced by the light saber design rejection in the last derby, so do the higher ups at woot.

It was flat, until the last time they rebooted the matrix. Now it has better 3d graphix and a better processor, so a round earth is now computationally feesible... it's still all just a simulation that only exists when your eyes are open... dont blink!

Instead of whining about some perceived Woot bias, why don't you draw a shirt and enter it? If they reject it, you'll have proven your point and exposed them. If they don't reject it, you'll have proof that Woot is neutral.

As creator of this design I have to say after yesterday ( Helsinki fiasco ) nothing about Donald Trump is funny - these are scary times.

FYI, previously printed shirts can't be in the derby. Or maybe it was stolen from here? If so, YIKES!

Your work is absolutely incredible! I love the fierce, intimidating look of Quetzalcoatl and how you incorporated it in with the setting sun over the pyramid! Truly phenomenal! The seriousness and the use of traditional Mayan culture with the piece is what makes it stick out to me! 10/10!

This shirt needs more votes!

The reuse of the classic Latin phrase Veni, Vidi is hilarious and matches so well with the spoof theme! I love the chiseled font and use of color.

All in all, this is a great shirt.

Thanks for the cool comments everyone.

Ever since playing Sam and Max hit the Road, and listening to Weird Al's Biggest Ball of Twine I've been itchy for America's roadside attractions. I had fun drawing this.
