Cat Vs. Cat

Sumo Cat, Sumo Cat

Does whatever, though he’s real fat

Thank goodness for Sumo Cat, right? For for too long, media depictions of high-BMI cartoon cats have shown them to be shiftless layabouts addicted to baked pasta-and-cheese dishes. Not Sumo Cat! He’s a big guy, sure, but he’s an elite athlete, too. He’s strong, he’s active, he’s into preserving his cultural traditions—why, he’s a great role model for pudgy kittens everywhere.

I mean, OK —you see a heavy-set cat in the newspaper basically every day. But what’s he doing, usually? Playing baseball? Studying anthropology? Working as a mail carrier? No, definitely not. He’s napping, or scarfing down food, or proclaiming his disdain for the onset of the work week, despite not having a job.

Now here comes Sumo Cat, a breath of fresh air to fat felines everywhere. Lazy? Uh, yeah, if you call wrasslin’ a tiger “lazy.” Which we do not!

Wear this shirt: with pride, whether you’re a tubby tabby or a little kitten.

Don’t wear this shirt: whilst sumo wrestling. It’s not regulation. That is, unless you fold it up just so, and cinch it between your… You know what? Just don’t wear it sumo wrestling.

This shirt tells the world: “Mi-Yao.”

Please check American Apparel's sizing chart for men, for women or children before you order. The Woot Tee, constructed by American Apparel, follows their classic closer-fitting style. If you prefer a baggier look, order a larger size. If there is not a larger size, consider starting a belly-hanging-out trend.
