now that's funny. I'd buy it. hell, i'd buy three and give two away. But then again, I'm an atheist, so i see the delicious comedy in this. I'd like to see a whole series done just on the "absurd jesus." christian lit is awesomely rich with titles just waiting for the absurd touch.

here's some great titles in case anyone else wants to take a shot:

The Unknown Life of Jesus by Nicolas Notovitch
Jesus in the Margins: Finding God in the Places We Ignore by Rick Mckinley
Jesus in Love by Kittredge Cherry
Damage Control: How to Stop Making Jesus Look Bad by Dean Merrill
Did Jesus Know He was God? by Francois Dreyfus
Jesus the Riddler by Tom Thatcher
Jesus Unplugged: Provocative, Raw and Fully Exposed by Bert Gary
My Absurd Religion by Steve Gray

I suppose the burning bush is a prankster?
Great concept.
I wish they would let us use text more often, that cup is screaming for a "Worlds Greatest Son" tag.

XD I actually thought about that. My first choice was "#1.." and a picture of a crucifix, but that would have been both text AND offensive. :x

That darn Mephistopheles kid is up to his usual tricks. Cute.

In sandals, though. . . . . .er, that's going to make a mess.

Nothing to see here. Move along. Move along.

This is great, but to me it feels a little incomplete. I think if you would of added a few more background elements it may have set it off the whole thing better. Just a thought. Otherwise, I think it's great. I laughed, then ducked for fear of lightning bolts.

It's Rebecca stuff this back. I just got myself. So that's it. Hey you. Talk to you bye hello.

Cute, very cute. I bet you he laughed too when he gave you that vision. I Luv My Daddy on the cup would have been cool too.

How about using Muhammad, Buddha or Ganesh? Oh, that's right, we don't want to insult other religions...but take your best shot at Christians, because they "turn the other cheek".

I have to say this is great. And I'm a christian. Although not a very righteous one, and I'd wear it to church. I'm not turning the other cheek, but I'm pretty sure God and Jesus has a sense of humor - considering how important laughter is to people and the whole being made in his image thing. I don't think it would work with Buddha, or Muhammad personally - and it's quite funny with Jesus. I too love it with the WWID on the cup. Dang, I wish this had won - I need one for my church small group gift exchange.
