What I said earlier reflects upon humans, it's human nature to leave starving people to die. In fact... Saving them from death is more likely to produce diseases to control the population. Just think of it as a cure to over-population. Not my thoughts, thats just how the world works, sorry it leaps into the vacuum, but that's life.

Not in regards to what you're saying, per se, but the fact that you're soapboxing about letting the starving die on a damn shirt thread about a happy pair of sharing trees.
Edit- And upon re-reading, I realized I did misinterpret your point in my initial post, and therefore I must take a step back from what I said earlier. For that, I apologize. The point about soapboxes, however, still stands.
