I've thus far cast several votes for shirts I'd like to give as gifts. This one, I want for ME!

Heh, I looked at this and was struck by it--and wondered if this was art by Adder standards. Apparently yes. This earns my third vote in the entire derby, and I suspect my last...

Oh, Mr. Edgar, sir.
This feels like the most natural emotional progression of "Would a Robot With A Soul Love Its Inventor" and "I'm Not Dead, You Just Don't Know How To See Me"--two of my favorite works of yours. This is so beautiful, in the beatific, not-culturally-shallow-overuse sense of the word. I don't care if it only took a thought and 10 minutes to make or hours of painstaking computer tablet-ing; I love it.

I really like this design and my husband is a huge fan of yours. I wish this design were recognized by the voting majority for just how amazing it truly is! And for what it's worth, you have both our votes

You have a truly amazing mind, Edgar. To be able to translate an idea like this artistically is a gift so many of us can only dream of having.

Two things:
First, can someone please explain the meaning behind this? I have been staring at it for five minutes and still do not get it.

Second, the wrinkle in the shirt template you use made it look like the 'god' sign had a mustache. I was rather confused for a second why they did not match up. :/

I've been thinking about this since it went up, and I think the point is that there's nothing to "get". You either like it aesthetically or you don't; a title like this makes you think there must be something more, and maybe there is, somewhere external to the design itself. But generally, no, I don't think there's anything to "explain here".

The average person wants things to make sense or have purpose, though, so I doubt I could wear this without being asked "what's your shirt all about?" and then being met with frustration when the best I can offer is the title.

For some people, that's a good thing.

I draw things! | feel free to call me "xaz" or "xazy", I'm down with that.

Your art always captivates me and makes me smile huuuuuuuugely!

Currently thinking of Lon & Mr. C and their adventures as polar opposites to Dante & Virgil, and possibly in another dimension.

Trippin' between Philip K. pretzel twist and some Vertigo material. Lovely and ominous. +1
