Derby #375: 10k Cup, Round I: Halloween

We're kicking off another 10k Cup! Read about it here, with previews to upcoming themes! This week's derby theme is "Halloween." So maybe do something about Halloween. Maybe it could be about those terrible marshmallowy candy pumpkins that always make the rounds with the candy corn. OR YOU COULD DO SOMETHING THAT PEOPLE ACTUALLY ENJOY.


Glow in the Dark allowed, but not required.

Can design on front or back, but not both.

No Crème Tees!

Derby #374: Famous Quotations

Some people have said some very stupid things. Other people have said some very insightful things. Let's explore this further.

Your design must include - or be inspired by - a famous quotation. If the quote isn't on the shirt directly, you must put the quote either on the preview image or in the comment section.

Other rules:

-Quotes from books must be in the public domain.

-No text-only entries.

-No Doctor Who.

-No Crème tees.

Derby #373: Heavy Metal

From hair bands to butt-rock and everything in between. Metallic ink is allowed but not required. If you DO use metallic ink, here are the rules:

-One color per design! Silver or gold!

-Use either gold (#b69624) or silver (#c5c7c9) metallic shimmer ink for your design - only one, not both (see above!!). Here is a swatch for reference!!!!

-No halftones or gradients!

-The smallest line we can print using metallic ink is a 4 point line in Illustrator, or an 8 pixel line in Photoshop. (Those numbers are based on your artwork at full size.)!!!!

No crème tees!!!!!!!!!!!
