btw - the aliens/images represented in the shirt are not the actual artwork from the game, just a representation/recreation...

Yeah... look at other shirts that made numbers out of images. Re-design and resubmit.

even though you didnt use the original game pictures i think it can still be seen as copyright by using their aliens and spaceship look, but maybe not.

Hmm...

I checked out the other rejected entries, and I think you guys are all correct. I'll probly get rejected cause my images make a number... Dang... Kinda ruins the design tho if it's not a number in the aliens... there's really nothing clever about a bitmapped starship shooting aliens without seeing the number in the aliens. Too bad... Does anyone have any great ideas on how it could be redesigned and resubbed?

My suggestion would be to find another, not quite related event from your year and arrange the aliens in that shape. For example, I took an actual eclipse and paired it with Dark Side of the Moon (which contained the song Eclipse) both from the same year. :-)
