Re: Take me out to the ball Game
i'd buy this shirt for my friend for sure if it wins.
Re: Take me out to the ball Game
This is AWESOME, Patch... I was imagining a very similar thing using a sprinter coming out of the blocks, but didn't try to do it due to some other ideas I'm struggling to put together in order to hopefully finally submit a design.
Anyway, your batter is perfect with it still early in the ball season!
Re: Take me out to the ball Game
I considered doing a golf one until i saw yours in the forums. nicely done.
so this is one of the few times i've come and checked out shirt.woot, but i really hope this design makes it, i would buy it in a second.
Re: Take me out to the ball Game
Great motion, very dynamic. But I think the brown shirt is REALLY dark, yes? I have a feeling the darkest brown ink... maybe the two darkest browns... will be hard to see on the shirt? Any shirt veterans out there can confirm this?
Re: Take me out to the ball Game
This is honestly one of the best shirts that depicts MOTION for all that it's worth. Too bad wootsters haven't caught on to a cool design when they see one. Instead, everyone votes for the cartoon ones that look like they've come out of a little kids book. Not to dis Wootsters, by any means, but I don't think this is the place for graphic designers to succeed... cartoon artists, definitely...

Nice way of expressing the blur of movement w/o using gradients. =)
