Re: Peace Is The Revolution (Resub Retitled)
Globally speaking, we've become so warlike that peace is now a revolutionary idea.

I have to disagree on this. Humans have been warring since the very beginning. Over the same tired topics - religion, boundaries, pride, and money. Color me stupid, but I don't see how we're any worse now than we were back in the times of the Persian Wars, Roman Empire, the Crusades, French Revolution, World War II, etc etc etc. Peace isn't a revolutionary idea, it's an idealistic idea.

Well, thanks for your correction to my concept. I'll check in with you before posting my designs from now on.

I have to agree that peace is probably an idealistic idea, but that doesn't mean it isn't a revolutionary idea at the same time.

Case in point: Ghandi. Yes?

Fine. You win. He should have said "we ARE so warlike that peace is a revolutionary idea." The fact that we've always been warlike doesn't make it not bad.
