This design is about how Thorium has a very impressive name, but doesn't really do much. It had no uses until 1885, which is a lot of slacking off in my opinion.

I was curious about this, since my husband is part Swede. And just like Vikings, I learned that with the proper direction, Thorium can be put to work. When in the form of thorium oxide, this element can be used for high temperature vessels and camera lenses.
