One lonely color depicting "Greed" and the loneliness associated with it. I probably worked on this longer than I should have, but I finally had to just submit. I reached a point where I wasn't sure if I was adding detail or decreasing it, so that was the point to just get it in here. Hope everyone likes it.

- Enjoy

I think I like your sketchy style the best. Although I really like the simplicity of your sloth design. That one looks more polished. I think if you could perfect the sketchiness and make it really solid, that would be amazing. Regardless, I think you're really good and I like your stuff.

Hey, thanks for the comments and feedback, I really do appreciate them.

I still need work with getting the face that I was looking for with this one. I was trying to achieve a sort of "scrooge" look, but I don't think I captured the old look too well. Other than that, I'm pretty proud of the fact that there was absolutely no reference material what so ever used with this. I just sat down and started going off with it. I do like the candle, flame and lighting effects on the coins and hat, but I'm not sold on the face since it doesn't capture the "old" look I was shooting for.

Regardless, like everything I do, I don't really do it to win, I do it for the fun of getting back into art. Votes are more of a way for me to gauge how I'm doing with something that people would like. Of course I would like to win, but until then, I'm happy with just getting votes with things people would enjoy. Which, beside the "elephant with the red balloon", it looks like I still have a long way to go with developing a design that would fit that category. There's always next derby.

Good luck with your designs.

- cheers
